The solution to my opportunity would be implementing a separate roadway system parallel to the highway and interstate. It will be a 2 lane road that allows people with their motor vehicles to accesses for a specific fee. Depending on how far they are traveling. The fee would be structured so that individuals in a desperate need to get somewhere will be willing to pay, but not so cheap that the entire traffic jam relocates to the new road. By doing this, people now have a second option instead of dealing with the inconvenience of traffic. In some ways, it can be looked at as a luxury HOV lane. Large fences and barricades will surround the borders to prevent from people accessing who do not pay. Toll booths will be placed in mile increments throughout the road which will let people freely enter and exit back onto the interstate as they please. 1. The opportunity? - Major traffic issue along interstates and highways that result in individuals and families being bounded to a roadway for an extended period of time. Which causes them to miss flights, be late to work meetings, and delays their day to day activities. 2. Who? - The traffic on interstates and highway systems causing people to be late for meetings and keep them from their day to day activities. What? - The are unable to continue a constant flow of traffic when there is an excess of vehicles on the road or when there is a collision. Why? - Human psychology and the outdated road systems in place. When a collision occurs on the highway system or in some cases even a flat tire, people begin the act called "Rubbernecking" which is when they slow the speed of their vehicle to observe what the chaos is. Economic Trend opportunities  1. Oil prices are stabilizing, which can result of new opportunities for drilling sights and locations so seek more resources in the U.S.   Link: https://commercial.jpmorganchase.com/pages/commercial-banking/executive-connect/six-key-economic-trends   When prices stabilize, it creates a guaranteed price point and formula to make profit and X amount of gallons or barrels sold. This could be incentive to drill in new locations where oil is abundant. The most likely costumers who will capitalize on this opportunity would be oil tycoons in the industry such as BP, Exxon Mobile, Shell, and Texaco. Also, gas station franchise owners who will be able to develop more stores across the country. Which, in transition will benefit the consumer who purchases the gas at the stores.  The opportunity would be difficult to exploit due to the extensive amounts of capital necessary to drill and fracking oil from the earth....

My belief relies in how our current and out dated highway system operates in today's world. Especially when there is bumper to bumper traffic involved. Everyone has experienced this. Either on their way to the airport which results in them missing their flight. Showing up late to an important meeting, or just wanting to be home from a long days of work at the peak of 5:00 rush hour. What if we can mitigate this problem by implementing a completely separate lane on the side of highways that individuals can utilize for a certain fee? This could impact people from all ends of the spectrum. Including White collar and Blue collar workers, long distant travelers, and families traveling on vacation. After interviewing my mother who is a poster child for the 5:00 PM rush hour being that she commutes from Orlando to Tampa 3 days a week.                               Extending all the way back to 6th grade is when I can  recall my very first entrepreneurship experience and I did not even realize it at the time. During that year of middle school, chewing gum had yet to be banned from school grounds and was a huge popularity trend. Gum balls, Orbit, bubble gum anything you can imagine was in people's pockets at the time. Expect when you ran out, and that was the only gum your parents bought you for the week. I started to notice an influx of my friends and other students asking me for gum through-out the duration of the day.
