1. Starting off this class, I would have never guessed how much I would learn about all the puzzle pieces that come together that an entrepreneur must put together to see his dream come true. My most exciting moments during this class were creating the elevator pitches as my girlfriend video taped in the background trying her best not to laugh. The moments I dreaded the most were the lengthy interviews I had to conduct with people I didn't know and then having to type them out word for word. I also hated the times I forgot to submit an URL and didn't receive credit for an assignment. Opportunity - Thousands of young professionals commute to and from the city by car each and everyday. When a traffic jam occurs during their commute, this sets them back and holds their day in limbo. Causing them to miss their flights, show up late to their meetings, and overall cause an inconvenience that puts a burden on them for the rest of the day. Not to mention, traffic jams also affect families traveling on vacation, truck drivers, and emergency vehicles. There is no real way to solve this problem other than taking an alternate root or just finding things to do in traffic while the jam clears up. Innovation - My suggestion and business idea that I believe would help ease the burden of traffic jams is developing a separate roadway that runs parallel to the major highway systems. After building and growing Elite Express to the point where the company is now bringing in profit quarterly, I would put in on the market for a reasonable price that would pay me for my hard work and dedication, but would also allow the individual who ever bought it to make changes and reconstruct it to build something that's more efficient and better in every regard. I would do this so I then can finance my next Entrepreneurial endeavor, what ever that might be. I feel as if I would become complacent if I just continued my roadway business after it became successful. During this past semester, I have had several areas of struggle but one of them was a complete wake up call. Set aside from this class, I am also enrolled in two other courses. One them happening to be an elective that I assumed was an easy "A". It was focused on career development and taught ideas and theories that I thought were intuitive and easy to comprehend. Throughout the class, I received full credit and perfect score on majority of the assignments which lead to extending my confirmation bias. As time continued, my first exam was approaching fast. Instead of reviewing the material and taking the time to study, I quickly skimmed through lectures and notes 2 hours prior to the exam beginning. Going in with the mindset that most of the information was just basic logic in the first place. I started the exam and the first five question appeared to be in a second language almost. Existing Market: After successfully having my product in the market, what I see as the long term path within the existing market would be the capitalizing off other roadway systems around the United States. I spoke with 2 of the people I happened to interview in the past and they believe this is an amazing idea. Including the highway systems that extend across the United States going from North to South and East to West. This would do wonders for any individuals in need of traveling by car going long distances that are outside of their home state. This can be done by receiving money from the federal government in the form of grants and low interest loans. From there, we can start a country wide project on constructing the express way that will stretch from New York City, all the way to Los Angelas. Elite Express - Getting you to your destination faster. I came about this idea due to the countless amount of times my days have been interrupted or my plans have been ruined  due to the burden of traffic jams. Including missed flights, late to meetings, and cut social time with friends and family. I feel as if we are currently complacent with our current road system and have yet to strive for innovation since the first highways were built. The direct result from doing this I believe would be an increase in car sales and a direct satisfaction increase with overall driver experience on our major road ways. 1). Todd Phillips, Civil Engineer, Co-owner of a paving company located in Ormond Beach. Specifies in road construction of all types. This individual would be the man creating the entire project and bringing it to life. He would have contractors, engineers, and construction and equipment operators on site constructing the road itself. We will work one on one creating the plan, figuring out what supplies are need, and how much capital it will cost. I was able to get in contact with this individual by reaching out to a home town friend of mine who happened to be his son. He gave me his fathers email and got back to me in a quick manner after explaining what exactly I needed from him.
